When I am working on a project, I see the color or the "look" that I am working on everywhere. That said, I'll be spotting champagne and pale water blue all weekend...our latest design project palette. This week, while working with purple, I noticed the waitress at Brother's was wearing all black with a bright purple wrist watch...a woman wearing a purple dress was crossing near South Station..my friend met me for breakfast wearing a purple top...my client was wearing purple eyeshadow...the girl at the Dunk's drive thru had on purple nail polish...I mean I see it everywhere! I can't shut it off. It truly means that I am working and designing every second that I am awake. I assure you Nancy is worse...she designs in her sleep.
So of course, one of our projects has had me seeing stripes, black and white. In our design process, we pull together images from here, there and everywhere to convey the "look" to the client. This was our "look book" to show how black and white stripes are modern and classic all at the same time.
